oh, argh!
Dear Advertiser:
If you come in at 3:00 on a Friday, do not expect your ad to make it into Monday's paper. The deadline was at noon. That was three hours ago. I don't care if you're friends with the publisher. He can't get your ad in, either. It's gone off to the art department, and I can't do anything about it. Whining, pleading, cajoling, and even bribery will not help you. Just accept the fact that your ad will appear a week later than you'd hoped, and move on with your life.
