Let's take a walk, shall we? Just down the street, to Stanley Park...

The first thing we see is the carpet of little white flowers covering the forest floor:

Look over there-- it's an upended tree:

Is that something pink I see over there? Ooh! It's a Lady's Slipper!

This way to the forest path. Look! A pretty Japanese fern:

Over here, there are some more Lady's Slippers, this time yellow:

Look at this lovely bunch of purple flowers:

Over on the left, there's a gorgeous rhododendron:

On the right, there's some lovely little irises:

Next to those, there's a striped trillium:

Those three Japanese Jack-in-the-pulpits have fully opened:

Look at that guy on that funky scooter!

Let's leave the forest path for a moment. Over there, the horse chestnut is in bloom:

It's dropping little blooms all over the ground!

What are those lovely orange flowers over there?

Next to them, a bird has found a home:

Let's go over to the rose gardens, shall we? The roses aren't quite in bloom just yet, but look at this iris:

Hiding out under the hosta are a couple of mushrooms:

And what pretty hostas they are, too:

Just a few tulips left:

Just one more stroll through the forest path:

There's some more trillium, and a pretty, ruffly rhododendron:

On the way out of the park, there is one last tulip:

Now you see why I love it there so much. :)
