lizziebelleWe made it to the SEF meeting today. Yay! It stopped snowing just after my last post. It snowed lightly while we were there, but not enough to stick. It's snowing like a son of a gun here now, but it was just starting to stick when I pulled into my driveway. Thanks be to the weather gods for allowing everyone to make it there and back safely.

yesod1's fabulous ten-year wrap up (in PowerPoint, no less). Everyone was starving by the time we finished. I had neglected to eat before I left (now I understand how people can forget to eat), but fortunately I didn't make it to the crabby stage of hunger thanks to Berta and a turkey carcass in the kitchen. I even got to speak to Jay on the phone as he was driving from LA to Vegas! So it was a very good day.
firespirit1, remind me before I go back to Brushwood to see if the Chalice Well folks are there again, and I'll pick you up a bronze pendant. They have larger ones, too.
I may have talked Johanna into getting an LJ of her own. She was a bit blue over a job opportunity that passed her by. Stinkers, similar to what happened to you,copperwise, only it happened before she started.
I can't believe the Olympics are almost over already. I'll have a chance to catch up on all the stuff I've taped over the past two weeks, as well as the Netflix discs I've had for over a week now. I think I'm going to have to give up Netflix, at least for a while; things are getting a bit tight, so I have to cut back on something. Cable is a necessity here, since I get only 2 or 3 stations with an antenna. Sucky stations, not any of the ones I actually watch.
I have to call my sister now and wish her a happy birthday. She turned 42 today. The answer to the great question of Life, the Universe, and Everything!
