weekend's over

Man, did this weekend fly by! I wish I could always have a four-day weekend, like I did last week. That was sweet.

New neighbors moved into the drug dealers' vacated spot today. I hope they're quiet! I didn't get a gander at them, and I'm not sure they're actually living there yet or if they just moved stuff in. We shall see!

I made it to the grocery store, finally. Stop & Shop has its own brand of whole-grain bread now! Much cheaper than Arnold or Pepperidge Farm. It's a good thing. They also had Hershey's Extra Dark chocolate on sale. I got the one with almonds, dried cranberries, and dried blueberries. Health food!

I'm watching something on the Travel Channel about Alaska, and it's narrated by that dude who played Chris on Northern Exposure. I had such a crush on Chris back when that show was on! Whatever happened to him? I can't even rememer his name. John something, I think. He's a cutie. Awwwww, big fuzzy bears!

It got cold enough for the heat to come on today. Ugh!

Awwwww, now there's cubs! Hee!

oh yes, chris the dj. sigh. SIGH.

and yeah, the heat was on here too. bleh.

got some cooking done - fried noodles for a couple lunches, and there's apple crisp in the crockpot.

and i've spent the evening surfing the web and rewatching Prisoner of Azkaban. weekends are good things.

I've only watched one full episode of Northern Exposure, and I absolutely loved it. I must sit down and immerse myself in more :).

We had the heat come on here, too. I am ready for the 70 degree days to come back right now.

I'm craving dark chocolate right now, you temptress!

It definitely *was* cold enough last night to snuggle up to a grizzly. :-)
This morning, though, I ran outside to poke some grass seed into some of the bare spots on the lawn. Grass is supposed to like this kind of weather, even if we don't!
