How am I going to make it through the rest of the day? I'm not quite sure how I made it this far. All I want to do is put my head down and sleep. My coworker feels the same. We're not doing a good job of keeping each other awake.
It doesn't help that most everyone has today off. So far, my phone calls have been unproductive. So I'm mostly doing research. Which is boring! If anybody feels like chatting, I am on AIM: ping me! My SN is ariadnebel1.
Wow, it's all the way up to 30 degrees out. It was 6 this morning when I got up. That's pretty darn chilly. There was a thick crust of frost on the car when I left for work. The forecast says the days will get progressively warmer before plunging back into the deep-freeze this weekend. Of course.
I can't believe next week is March already. It seems like we didn't really have much of a winter, which I am not complaining about. Even after watching that story about global warming on 60 Minutes last night. Man, that was scary, wasn't it? The climatologist said that even if we stop all emissions today, the global temperatures will continue to rise and the polar ice caps will continue melting. And hurricanes will continue to get stronger. That's pretty scary right there. Last season may not have been a fluke, it may likely be a trend. Eep! Makes me glad I don't live on the coast any more.
Sigh. I suppose I should at least try to get some work done. ;)
