brrrrrrr!

It's a cold one out there this morning! Single digit wind chills- and I have to do laundry today, which involves going outside. I hate having to bundle up to go out for the 30 seconds it takes to walk to the laundry room!

According to the Today show, it's just as cold in Roanoke and Atlanta... bundle up, [livejournal.com profile] madwriter and [livejournal.com profile] eugie! You're even less used to this than we are.

pimping a friend

My friend Cymbri posted a thoughtful piece recently (on an email list we're both part of) about our collective responsibility for things that happen in the world. I suggested that she submit it to The Witches' Voice website, so she did, and it's up today! You can read it here (posted under her other magickal name, Godiva).

We were talking yesterday about personal responsibility, and how a lot of people who are drawn to Wicca don't want to acknowledge or practice this. Yes, we have sheep, too.

If everyone who thinks that one person can't make a difference actually *did* something, we'd all make a huge difference!
