peace

I had to go out to gas up the car, and send off a (very late) package, so I stopped at Gates Pond for a nice walk in the mist. It's relatively mild, and everything is covered in sparkly drops of water.

The pond always looks so lovely in the mist.

It was a lovely and peaceful walk, much better than the crazy Christmas Eves I've had in the past. Thank goodness I escaped retail.
