wide awake

Just got home from the coffeehouse, which was fabulous. It just keeps getting better every year. Lots of terrific performances, fun stuff in the auction (which I wish I could afford), and friends to hang out with. The highlight of the evening, for me, was hearing [livejournal.com profile] dreda, [livejournal.com profile] rising_moon, and [livejournal.com profile] polyhymnia_ singing the siren song from O Brother, Where Art Thou? (sorry, don't know its name). Coincidentally (or maybe not), that's also my favorite part of the movie. :)

Unfortunately, on the way out of the parking lot I got a flat tire. Boo. Rob changed it for me (what a guy), and I took it easy on the way home (believe it or not) because I have one of those donut spares. Made it home OK (obviously), and now I'm wired. Took some kava kava, and will probably channel-surf until I feel sleepy enough to go to bed.

Nighty night!

Oh no. I 'm sorry to here that. I was thinking as we left we should have planned a ride in together. It's such a waste of energy not to.
I'm glad you made it back safe and sound.

Hindsight is always 20-20!

That gift certificate I have is for Il Giardino, in Wilbraham. We'll have to make a date to go out some night. :)

Aww, sorry about the flat! I hope it is fixable.

That song is my favorite part of the movie, too. I should really rent that again some time, or maybe get the soundtrack at some point, 'cause it's all great!
