Yule party

The party last night was great fun, full of warmth and cheer and good friends. It was worth the drive, and I even got home before midnight.



ned_gasket, textiletart, coyotegrrrl18, and Lakshmi the LJ-less hanging out on the sofa.



Zoe, wearing a grass skirt, is a total ham in the way of four-year-olds everywhere. She was my special bud for the evening; as usual, the small child latched onto me. I don't know why, but kids & animals always gravitate to me, especially in large groups. I must give off 'this person is safe' vibes. Or maybe it's my sense of whimsy. *g*

I managed to remember to bring the apple crisp *and* bring home the dish. :)

It's looking rather grey & ominous out there this morning. Perhaps we will get that snow after all.

I take it this was Betty and Joann's party? I have not been to that in years! Wow December 1st must be a record for the earliest they've ever had it!

I hope to make it to a party or two in Boston next weekend; I know basically no one in Albany so not much happening on the holiday party front hereabouts...and even if I gave one myself I don't know hardly anyone to invite...(pout)
