Home from the family reunion. It was a very nice weekend, lots of fun for all. It was great to see everyone. We were way too tired to go see Dark Knight last night, but we hooked up the cameras to the telly and looked at everyone's pictures, which was lots of fun. There were lots of pictures of people taking pictures, and similar scenes from different points of view, which was neat.
Highlights: Friday night cousin gathering at Denny's, where my bro built the Leaning Tower of Creamers.
The tractor didn't break down this year on the annual haywagon ride.

grrlfriday making FrankenCrispie out of my mom's rice crispie treats (yes, there are pictures). There are now plans for next year's monster.
Everyone waving goodbye with white hankies as we pulled out this morning. Apparently this is a German tradition (or at least our German cousins' tradition).
Spiedies and grilled veggies.
Meeting my cousin's daughter's twins. First twins in the family! They got passed around quite a lot, and they are adorable & very good-natured. Yes, there are pictures of them, too. :)
Seeing hummingbird moths in my aunt's garden. I even managed to get a couple of pix, and they do move fast! I don't think I've ever seen them before.
My uncle Robert gave me a DVD he made of last year's pix. He even used a couple of mine. I've started processing my pix, but there are quite a lot of them, so I don't think I'll get them all uploaded today. I'll post links when I get them up, and links to others' pix as well. My cousin-in-law Nikkie has a Nikon D70, and she got some really great shots.
grrlfriday has a Canon, and hers are very nice as well. I had major camera envy. *g* I have to say, though, that my modest little Kodak takes pretty good pictures for what it is.
There's quite a storm going on right now (probably the same system that you folks in PA were talking about), so I should probably end this now in case the power goes out. 'Ta!
