Silly me. The sun came out at lunchtime, so I left my car windows down about an inch.

It has since rained heavily, and now we are under a severe thunderstorm warning.

I hear loud thunder.

Methinks I'm going to be driving home with a wet bum!

Bummer! Were you not allowed to go out and put the windows up, or is it because you didn't know it had rained in the interim?

Where I've been working, there's always a mass rush to the parking lot if somebody notices it's raining... but there are also lots of windows, so someone usually sees.

By the time I noticed it was raining, it was too late. It sort of snuck up on me. Whoops!

I do have a big scarf in the car I can sit on if I need to.

where i work, if it starts to rain there's a massive rush to the car park as well.

Although *not* because people have left their windows and sunroofs open. Oh no. This is more fundamental.

The car park at my workplace has a habit of flooding ...
