I'll be celebrating my Irish third today at the Irish festival in Canton. Lakshmi won tickets and invited me along. I haven't been to the fest since it moved from its old location at Stonehill College years ago. Should be a good time! Lots of great music and fun things to look at. I have to decide between Solas and Lughnasa, because they're playing at the same time. I've seen Solas twice, so I think Lughnasa will win out. 'Though, if Karan Casey were still with them, Solas would probably win. She has the most amazing voice.

Hopefully it won't rain on us. There's a chance of showers this evening.

At least we don't have to deal with a hurricane! Thinking of those of you in Ike's path, and hoping you stay safe & dry. Most of the folks I know in Texas are in Austin, but some of you are right in the danger zone.
