I woke up at 5:15 this morning, went back to bed at 8:30, and woke up again at around 11. So much for the morning! I hate when that happens. Why can't I just sleep in? It's a mystery.

At least the sciatic pain was gone, as was the headache I'd had most of the week. I had some brunch, and headed outside as it was a gorgeous day.














That was just what I needed. :)

I believe they're some sort of Japanese maple.

Just as close as it looks: the camera was inches from the flower. They totally ignored me, as they were busy. :)
