I went to my first company meeting this morning. That was interesting! They held it at the Yoga studio next door. We all sat on the floor (with backjacks) and the instructor had us do some breathing exercises. Cool! The managing editor, Mike, ran the meeting. He played a game called "Have you read our friggin' paper?" and asked questions based on articles from the past few weeks. He gave out bins of candies and such to each department for the "grazers" who go around looking for treats. That was different! They made me stand up and tell a bit about myself. I stumbled through that and sat back down right quick. Whew! Got that over with.

Gotta do some housecleaning tonight. Mom will be in my apartment on friday. Can't have a mess! I'd never live it down. I still have camping equipment all over the place. Trouble is, I have nowhere to put it! I store most of it at *her* house. So I have to stack it up somewhere and make it look neat. And I have to wash the bathroom floor. I don't think I'll let her in the bedroom!
