Earth awakening
I made it down to Stanley Park today, where lots of people also headed for a fine early spring afternoon.
The first critter (besides numerous little yippy dogs) I came across was this cute little chipmunk, who was bitterly disappointed that I didn't have any peanuts:

Fortunately for him, a family showed up with a whole bag of peanuts.
I find something new every time I go there, and today I noticed that there is bamboo growing near the stream behind the pond:

In the stream, I found things growing:

Over by the fountain, I found tulips sprouting out of the ground:

The ice was all melted on the pond:

Over by the barn, the daffodils are coming along nicely, with some buds showing:

The barn continues to be very photogenic:

While behind it, the rhododendron prepares for spring:

Here's something you'd think they wouldn't have to say:

Alas, there are many idiots out there who need to be told such things.
I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday!
