snowdrops emerging, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

I went down to the park to look for sings of spring, and I found a few. These snowdrops were buried beneath a foot of snow last time I was down there, and in a few days they will have flowers.

The sidewalks are now free of ice and snow, but some of them have large puddles. The paths in the woods are still snow-covered, but mostly packed down enough to walk on. Mostly.

The river wasn't as high as I expected it to be. I was able to sit on a tree root and take this video:

I had expected this tree to be in the water, as it usually is after so much rain and snow melt.

It felt good to be outside and moving around. :)
