lovely spring

Spring is still breaking out all over. The hot weather retreated, and it's been lovely out. I've been trying to get out walking every day, despite pulling something in my leg that's left my sciatic nerve irritated. Getting older is so much fun (not).

Thanks!

I suppose it's better than the alternative, but it is a pain. ;)

Beautiful! I've yet to see any dragonflies here, though we've had a couple of fiercely warm days...

Hope the trapped nerve sorts itself out quickly.

Thank you! They were all over the place yesterday.

Thanks. It seems to be better today; perhaps the hike through the woods loosened it up. :)

Ooooh, ladyslipper! So pretty. Haven't been in woods for years, so I never get to see any...

I wonder if there are any in Central Park?

There might be, in the very remote wooded sections in the north of the park. But more likely to be some up in Inwood Park, way up at the very northern end of Manhattan, where it's real woods. But even those sections are kind of tramped over by people...
