long overdue

finally lilacs

I have (again) been a bad LJer. Sorry about that. Life has been a bit trying lately, for various reasons. 8 days straight of gloomy, drizzly skies didn't help. But! The sun came out yesterday afternoon, and today was glorious. There have been good things, too. I am slowly crawling out of the hole into the light.

Pink trees and fiddleheads make my heart happy.

I'm trying not to let brain chemistry make me into a hermit. Nice weather helps. Hello, May. Nice to see you.

my heart bleeds for you

The fiddleheads are so appealing--the *light* is appealing after that rain. I'm glad you got out and took these beautiful pictures.

So am I! Getting outside always makes me feel better this time of year.

Those are such lovely photographs. Thank you! - I think I needed some pink flowers today.

I realised today that I need to start using the lightbox again in the mornings. I'd stopped during the recent bright weather, but it's been overcast for the past week or so and I haven't been outdoor much. Your photos are a welcome touch of colour.

Oh! What are those heart-shaped ones? They're splendid!

They're called "Bleeding hearts." Very cool flowers.

We have a giant bush of them in our backyard. Well, in the next-door building's backyard, but they swoosh over the fence and take up our space. Lovely!
