Hot Tuesday
It's up to 88 degrees, and getting muggier by the minute. Tomorrow, it's supposed to hit 100. I'm taking the day off, to celebrate my birthday by sleeping late and perhaps taking in a movie.
My brother sent me the link to a clip from David Letterman, with Clinton's response to Ann Coulter's charge that he's gay. It's pretty funny. Right on the money, I'd say. That woman so needs to be bitch-slapped!
I hope y'all are managing to stay cool. It's comfortable here in the office, and even at home. I'm keeping the shades down in the apartment, though. My poor plants will just have to suffer for a couple of days without sunlight. It gets too darn hot in there if I open them, even with the a/c. It's supposed to be better starting Thursday. We'll see.
I'm actually thinking about getting up early tomorrow anyway, just to go for a walk. It's been too hot in the evenings this week to go out. I can always go back to bed. *g*
