mother nature rules

Have you all been watching Planet Earth on Discovery? If you haven't, I urge you to do so. It's the most amazing nature program I've ever seen. The photography is jaw-dropping, and the message is that this planet is awesome (in the true meaning of the word), and it's worth saving. Plus, animals! Neat! I hear it is coming (or already is) out on DVD, so no excuses. ;)

Here is some nature photography from last Friday; I went down to Heritage Park on my lunch break, and this goose thought I should be giving it some food:
no really, feed me

I need to find it on DVD. It sounds fascinating. I've been hearing lots about it.

That sounds great. Have you seen the movie Winged Migration? Yo'd love it, amazing photography and great music, and lots of migratory birds! I am introducing it at Franklin Park's "Birds and Bards" weekend in early June.

Hey--where does that Pan image come from? I like it.

Peggles, was that you? I haven't seen that movie, but I believe it's in my queue on Netflix.
