rising_moon made an observation that led to a name: Doorways into Faerie. What do you think? Good? Appropriate?

Had another disappointing movie experience: Atonement. I didn't like it, and didn't make it through the whole movie. As soon as I saw where it was going to go, I decided that I didn't want to go there, and turned it off. It had good people in it, and gorgeously photographed, but it just didn't do it for me. Next up is Cloverfield, which sounds like a fun popcorn movie. I need one of those. :)

oh, that is a nice name, and yes i can see where it comes from.

i'm not sure about the word *door*ways though. I've never thought that Faeriehomes had doors ... unfortunately i can't figure out what they *do* have! And Pathways doesn't seem quite as appropriate for the concept of opening out into the soul. Window into Faerieland maybe?

i dunno ... i was never any good at titles :p

Well, in fairy tales, a doorway isn't always an actual door. It's a way in. :)

a portal to a netherworld ... the Fairie Portal ...

i always thought you had to knock to be let in to any Fairie enclave. Or that you had to know where it was, to find it ... it's only a way in if you are allowed to be let in ...

I like the idea of a portal. What I think I'm doing, though, is providing a glimpse rather than offering a way in. Windows, perhaps?

yes, i did think about windows earlier - "windows into faerieland" i think i mentioned. everything else would just sound pretentious (wormholes, portholes, kaleidoscopes, telescopes, microscopes, periscopes ...).

I love that title!

Forgive me for not offering feedback--I love the photos and just couldn't think at all of any constructive advice. I look and think, "beautiful photos!" and then just sit back and enjoy.
