I ventured out into the ice and slush this afternoon after clearing off my car, which was strangely satisfying, especially when the ice-encrusted snow came off in big chunks. It came off the hood of the car in one big piece. Woo! Slid right off. I told you I was easily amused. *g*















Here is the forsythia bush outside my apartment:



It's been raining most of the day, so everything is quite slushy, and there are large puddles in the parking lot. I'm sure it will be a skating rink in the morning.

I'm glad I stayed home from work today. It felt good to get outside and get moving! Winter is harsh, and sometimes deadly, but it's also lovely.
