This is that giant (and growing) icicle out behind the office. It's bigger than I am, I think. O_o

There's a tarp shed out back, and here is the progression through the past few storms. I think the next storm will do it in.

Things going through my head today:

The taste of icicles (very much like ice cubes, as I recall).

The futility of railing against the weather.

The fervent hope that the roof doesn't cave in, either here or at home.

The daffodils that bloomed in March last year. Wondering if that's even possible this year.

Memories of summers past, and plans for future summers.

And, for some odd reason, the WWII air show in my hometown. That was always fun. No idea why that popped into my head today.
