It was a long, hot, aggravating day. One of my coworker's customers (she's on vacation) was an absolute bitch to me today. Since I've witnessed her be an absolute bitch to said coworker, I didn't take it personally, but it's rather rattling as it's happening. Fortunately, two other people also had trouble with this woman, so I have witnesses if she tries to make trouble.

At least I had help all day today, so I wasn't trapped in my cubicle. That was a nice change.

I discovered that I can't sync my iPod to this computer without wiping it, so that was a bummer. I have stuff on there that's not from my library (borrowed from coworkers) that I'd hate to lose. Like Patsy Cline. :(

The nasty weather stayed south of us, and the sun actually came out, so I walked down to the park after supper. I took two nice pictures in the wonderful late-day sunshine, and then my camera showed me the dreaded "batteries exhausted" screen and of course I hadn't brought spares. Oh, well.

At least my mom sent me some more SAMe, so my knees should start feeling better in a few days. I've been out for a couple of weeks. All this walking has helped, too. They get so stiff and cranky sitting at a desk all day.

So yeah, not the best of days, but not the worst by far. And the weekend less than 24 hours away. Woo.

Maybe it's the wind putting everybody in a bad mood, but I had two more nasty phone calls today. One of them was one who called and yelled at me *last* week. The second one was one of my customers, who has been nasty to me before. You know what? I don't have to take this. So I shall not. I asked my boss to assign my customer to someone else, because I *will* not be treated like that. He was mad because I had called him to tell him that his credit card didn't go through because the address didn't match. Obviously my fault.

As for the other guy, next time he calls he's getting transferred to my boss. Immediately. I will not be yelled at for something that isn't my doing.

So there.

At least there were irises on my walk this evening. I just hope tonight's frost doesn't kill everything. Yes, frost. O_o
