one-day reprieve

Yesterday was a lovely reprieve from the cold and snow we've had so much of lately. I took a walk around Gates Pond, where these folks were taking in the sunshine on the beach. It got into the fifties, and felt almost springlike.

Today? It's snowing. *sigh*

Yes, the pond is frozen over. It's been very cold here. At this rate, we'll have snow & ice into April!
