grump

I miss walking in the green woods. I'm tired of being cold, tired of shoveling snow, tired of slipping & sliding on the sidewalk. I have reached Winter Fatigue. If I won the lottery today, the first thing I'd buy is a plane ticket to someplace warm.

I don't even want to think about Monday's forecast. The snow is already up to the fourth step. We're running out of places to put it all.

I'm also tired of being grumpy. Spring cannot come soon enough for me.

Tell me something good?

Have you ever smelled orange blossoms? I started smelling them earlier in the week and now the air is full of them; sweet and fragrant. A beautiful smell. :)

I love the smell of orange blossoms. :)

I've heard that, on average, Spring "moves north" at a rate of 30 miles a day. It's coming...

I know it's coming. But in February, it doesn't feel that way!

Oh, that's such a lovely picture...

Sorry that the snow upon snow upon snow thing is wearing you out. Hope this is the last of it, and an early spring is on the way!

Thanks. I can only hope!

Your photo makes me long for Berkshire County trails during the spring. *Happy sigh*

As for something good, Tori Amos is releasing two "deluxe" editions: one for Little Earthquakes, the other for Under the Pink. They both come out on April 14, 2015, but you can already pre-order on Amazon. I am thrilled at the promise of bee-sides and live tracks :).

I hope we can get some tea or lunch once our schedules and the weather start behaving :P.

Yay, more Tori!

Yes, once spring arrives, I hope to be getting out more. I've got wicked cabin fever.

I don't think there can ever be "too much Tori!" By the by, I took [livejournal.com profile] tranari to see her in Oakland in July, and he quickly became a fan ;).

I completely understand your cabin fever :/. I am ready to frolic and hike and have adventures. Maybe we can have a tea party in the Greylock Glen?

That photo reminds me of the woodland paths round here, and like you I miss the warmth. Thankfully we haven't had any snow, but it's cold enough to make me reluctant to venture outdoors.

I only went out today because I was out of chocolate, and it's supposed to snow for 48 hours.
