Rumble of thunder;
are my car windows open?
Better run and check

The only sound is
iTunes on my computer...
all alone again

In only a week,
I'll be on my way to camp.
Brushwood, here I come!

Under a rain cloud
In the neighbours cherry tree
A red cardinal


Tall lanky teen girls
Keep pleading with their mother
To have their nails done

Spaghetti sauce sits
In a Ziploc freezer bag
Defrosting slowly

Dogs drink the water
With heads and tongues touching
Until bowl is dry
