spectacular
Today was just spectacular out: temps in the 70s, deep blue skies, and incredible color on the trees. We're pretty much at peak color here in western New England; the next few days will be colorful indeed.
After finishing my laundry (in a rare feat of self-discipline), I headed out with my camera, intending to walk down to Stanley Park. The colors on the maple trees next door in the cemetery, however, lured me through the gates. All I can say is, wow. Wow! Look:

Because it's still warm, there were even daylilies:

See lots more here.
I had to give up on my photo software before I could finish, so there will be more tomorrow. I did get most of them, after rebooting several times and cursing several more. *g*
