They're still predicting Snowmageddon, but so far all we've had here is light snow. I went out for a walk in it, and it was underwhelming to say the least. Hopefully, overnight we'll have more. I want real snow! Especially since I have nowhere I have to go until Wednesday.

I was very happy to find that the Doctor Who Christmas special was On Demand; I liked it a lot. Really fun.


And, of course, I had linzer torte for breakfast.

If that predicted snowmagedden is from the same storm system as we're dealing with here, right now, I think you'll be in for heaps and heaps. About half the view out my window right now is blocked, thanks to the piles of snow on my hedges.

Yes, I saw on the Weather Channel that you got lots. I know they're expecting over a foot on the coast; we'll see if we get a lot here! Last winter, all the big snowstorms skirted us.

That torte looks so yummy! I need to make us some proper pie, real soon. There's a little leftover pumpkin pie from yesterday, but really, only a little...

Thanks! Since I don't have to drive in it, and I only have to shovel out my car, I wouldn't mind getting a bunch of snow. It's been a long time since we've had a big snowfall here!

Nope. I do miss the insulation in my building, though. When it gets cold here, there's no warming up. Kind of the flip side of Seattle, where when it got hot, there was just no escape other than newer office buildings because no one has AC and a lot of windows don't even open.
