I actually saw two cats on porches today, but the first one fled before I could get a picture. I get the feeling it wasn't on its own porch. *g*

It actually got up into the high thirties today, which doesn't sound all that warm, but compared to the bitterly cold weather we've been having, it was wonderful. Warm enough for the leather coat instead of the thick faux shearling one. They're saying high forties by the end of next week! I can actually see pavement on our driveway. I'm looking forward to seeing the immense snowbanks shrink.

I'm glad I got out today, but it wore me out. Most of the sidewalks are still icy, so even with the YakTrax it was tricky walking. Trying to maintain your balance on ice is tiring!

My treat for the week is mini heart-shaped York peppermint patties. They're pink in the middle. And on sale at Walgreens. *g*

Well, they work really well on packed snow and crunchy ice, but on smooth ice you still have to be careful.

I think he was more wary; he bolted when I peeked around the corner to get a different shot. ;)
