lizziebellePirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is on TV tonight. I just ordered it from Amazon (I had a gift certificate, and was feeling in need of a present to myself). I'll probably watch it tonight, anyway. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, pirates-- what's not to love? I feel no need to watch the Emmys. Same old crap wins every year.
I went over to Cymbri & Rob's this afternoon; they were giving away stuff before their move, and I picked up some nice copper pots, a couple of books, and a couple of future Yule/Xmas gifts. It's been raining since this morning, so it was good to have an excuse to get out of the house. I might not have left otherwise.

windswept gave me a craving for corn bread, and since I had a box of the Jiffy mix sitting around waiting to be used, I made some. I tossed in some dill weed. It just came out of the oven, all golden and inviting. Warm corn bread with (fake) butter! Yum. Now to find something to go with it!
