Also, I had to change my Yahoo password, because I can never remember it when I have to sign in someplace new. This time, I wrote it down. Which I'll probably lose before I have to use it again.

Hmm, Flickr has a new way of posting to LJ. Let's see how this works!
On my evening walk, I came across this hellebore poking out of a pile of dead leaves. A nice sign of life, especially with snow in the forecast for Friday. Ugh. They still have no idea how much we're going to get, but it doesn't sound good. I'm not looking forward to Friday.

It was still (relatively) warm today, if cloudy, so I wandered around for a while. My foot seems to have developed a dislike for my boots, and I had a bit of a headache (probably due to falling pressure), so I didn't go as far as the past couple of days, but it was nice to be outside.
I started a set on Flickr of lost and abandoned items I've found in my wanderings, inspired by my friend Wren, who likes to take pictures of similar things. Today it was this Tinkerbelle thingy; I'm not sure what it is, because it's too small to be a hat, but it's not a mitten. Is it the opposite of fingerless mittens?

The rest of yesterday's pix are up now at Flickr. Instead of bombarding you with a bunch more, you can just follow the link. :)
(This pic is of the snowdrops in Stanley Park, the same ones that I posted the shoots of last week)

I had a nice trek through a local park with Rusty this morning, near her house in West Springfield. It's only about 15 minutes from my place, and it's about time I went there. We walked down to the river, where I'll bet it'll be very colorful in a couple of months, so we've made plans to go back then.
Rather than repeat myself, I'll just direct you to my photo blog where you can see my adventures. There's a link there to Rusty's Flickr stream, so you can see her perspective, too.
It was a nice way to spend a day off, and I still have plenty of time to get my laundry done now. *g*

It's not the most interesting photo I took over the weekend, but it's the 10,000th photo I've uploaded to Flickr. Appropriate, perhaps, that it's of another photographer (
coyotegrrrl18).
10,000. Wow.
