lost and found
Jan. 2nd, 2011 06:16 pmIt was still (relatively) warm today, if cloudy, so I wandered around for a while. My foot seems to have developed a dislike for my boots, and I had a bit of a headache (probably due to falling pressure), so I didn't go as far as the past couple of days, but it was nice to be outside.
I started a set on Flickr of lost and abandoned items I've found in my wanderings, inspired by my friend Wren, who likes to take pictures of similar things. Today it was this Tinkerbelle thingy; I'm not sure what it is, because it's too small to be a hat, but it's not a mitten. Is it the opposite of fingerless mittens?

Date: 2011-01-03 02:19 pm (UTC)Aha! Looking on the Accessorize web site reveals they're called "capped gloves". They're basically fingerless gloves with a little finger-cosy that folds over to turn the gloves into mittens. I suspect that what you've found is a detached fold-over bit.
