shadows and footprints, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

With eleven votes, "Shadows and footprints" was the clear winner. Photo #365 has been chosen, and my 365 project is complete! You can see the whole set of them here.

This is the one I was leaning toward, but since you all have gone through this journey with me, I wanted your input, too. Thank you for coming along. :)

Today's forecast is for sun and mid-forties, so you know I am going to be outside, camera in hand. Just because I'm not making myself take pictures every day doesn't mean I won't be taking any at all! I'm looking forward to new challenges (and thanks for the suggestions - keep 'em coming!).

lavender and snow, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

What a beautiful day. And I only had to work until noon! Woo hoo. It was so sunny and (almost) warm, I went out in layers of fleece instead of wrapped head to toe as usual.

I walked down to Grandmothers' Garden, because that's where I wanted to take the final photo in the series. It's mostly bare, but there are a few gems left.

The problem is, I can't decide! So I want you to decide for me. Which pic should be #365?

Which one should it be?

spirals, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

Thank goodness I only have to work a day and a half this week, because it is deadly dull in here. I'm also really glad I wasn't here yesterday, because the heat wasn't working in the morning, and I'm told it was 52 degrees in the office. O_o

One year ago today, I got my new camera. Tomorrow, I will have completed my 365 project. I'm starting to think about what the next project will be; it won't be a 365, but probably a series of smaller projects. I'd like to do a colors week or month like [livejournal.com profile] heleninwales did a while back; that looks like fun.

Any suggestions? What would you like to see me take pictures of for a week or a month?

paperwhites, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

Two days left in my 365 photo project. Two! The finish line is within sight. :)

These paperwhites were a gift from [livejournal.com profile] textiletart. I hope I don't kill them. My apartment gets so little sunlight.

Speaking of sunlight, it was beautifully sunny all day today. I walked down to the library, and even the wind felt less cold today. I'm looking forward to Friday; the forecast is for sunshine and 42 degrees. Sounds good to me!

Back to work tomorrow, but only for a day and a half, and then I'm off for five more. I love it when the holidays fall on a weekend.

my boss's shoes, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

It's a testament to my boss that she didn't even blink when I asked her if I could take a picture of her shoes. They're quite used to me there. ;)

This is day # 350, which means I have 15 more days to go in my 365 project. I have not missed a single day! You can see the whole set here.

While this has been a fun exercise, I don't think I'll do it again. At least, not for a while. I will set other challenges for myself, perhaps theme months or something along those lines. There have not been a lot of days when I've had to make myself take a picture of something; most days I had my camera out for one thing or another anyway.

I might just take a day off after I've finished this challenge, though. Maybe.

Last-minute desperation shot of some of my rings fulfills my daily photo obligation. I do like rings. And amber. Can you tell? *g*

anyone for tacos?, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

I've reached 100 days in my 365 photo project! Go me. As you can see, I stopped at Taco Hell for a cheap burrito for supper, as well as to replenish my supply of taco sauce. I like the silly sayings on the packets. Nice to see a company with a sense of humor.

The temperatures have returned to a more April-like level. I do hope the sun returns tomorrow, though. I had almost gotten used to having sunny days.

My ability to access LJ has been spotty for a couple of days; I hope I haven't missed anything important/good/funny. At least it's not just me (this time). Amazing how dependent we become on our social networks! ;)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

whoops, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

My company produced the official booklet for the camping & RV show this weekend, and someone noticed a big whoops when they arrived yesterday: the dates were for September and not February. Whoops! So most of us were placing little stickers with the correct dates on all 17,000 booklets today. Gee, that was fun.

One of my customers, Gina, brought her massage chair in today and did massages. I popped for 10 minutes (all the $ I could spare), and she gave me 15 for setting it up. Yay.

I just hope I didn't undo all she did by spending half the day stickering booklets. :P

We're supposed to get the Northern edge of this week's Snowzilla, so my coworker suggested I take tomorrow off. I think I will. It's supposed to be at its worst during the evening commute, and I've already had one awful commute home recently. I gotta use some of those 90-something hours of vacation time for something; might as well use a few avoiding driving in a snowstorm.

Of course, they could be completely wrong (again) and it could miss us completely. I kinda hope we get socked, though. We haven't had one of those this year. I'm way behind in my snow pictures this year. ;)

the horror

so what?, originally uploaded by Lizzie~Belle.

Today was pretty much a loss in the Getting Things Done department. I've had a headache all day, and I finally gave in a little while ago and took some Advil. Even a nap didn't help.

I did a lot of reading, some for pleasure and some for a project that reasserted itself at me last night (complete with outline). When my eyes got tired of that, I turned on the telly and started watching The Bride from On Demand. Yes, the 1985 Gothic horror (in all senses of the word) starring none other than Sting. Man, he sure was purty back in the 80's! Unfortunately, he never was much of an actor. Neither was Jennifer Beals, I am now remembering. Even Clancy Brown couldn't save this one. I lasted maybe 20 minutes, then switched over to Lair of the White Worm, which was just as bad as I remembered, but at least it was entertaining. One of those so-bad-it's-good flicks to take your mind off things for a bit.

Even though the Snowpocolypse (or, as my brother calls it, Snowzilla) once again missed us, I had no desire to go outside today. I pretty much used up my sociability the other night, and I just didn't want to get out of my jammies and bundle up for a windy walk anywhere. The sky was white and not very inviting. We've reached the part of winter I call "All right, already." My hair is constantly staticky no matter how much conditioner I use, and my hands & lips are like parchment.

I hope the sun comes out tomorrow.
