lizziebelleOn the 30th anniversary of the great blizzard of '78, we're having torrential rain. Well, at the moment it's taking a break, but there are flood warnings and omens of doom from the National Weather Service. It's very dark and grey out there, making me wish I was still in bed. I'm so very tired today! I just haven't been sleeping well (again) lately. Fortunately, I have no plans for the weekend, so hopefully I can do some catching up. Or something.
Speaking of weekends, I asked my boss if I could take the 15th and 18th off as a four-day weekend. Her response? "Have fun!" I really like my boss. :)
It's been very quiet in here today. Perhaps folks are out filling sandbags? Actually, they're probably all at the grocery store, because it's supposed to change over to ice & snow tonight. Lovely.
