What a lovely day! I spent a couple of hours rambling around in the woods and the park, came home for lunch, and headed out for another ramble around town. Finally, crocus in bloom!

My neighbors' daffodils are in bloom, too!



I found these teeny little flowers down at the park. That's my finger, for scale.



The forsythia is starting to bloom, but only along the ground.



In the woods, the paths are finally clear of ice & snow.










During my walk, I looked up to watch a buzzard circling around, and caught sight of the slim crescent moon. The first thing I thought of was Isis with Her vulture crown. :)

Oh! And I heard my first peepers of the year! All of the frogs were quite vocal today.

When I was walking on a nearby street, a fellow was practicing the bagpipes in his backyard.

It was a very nifty day. :)
