signs of spring

lizziebelleSlowly but surely, spring is breaking out in New England. We've even had some warm weather, though not for the past couple of days. But no snow! Some of my friends and relatives in NY and PA have gotten snow, but not us, knock wood.
We are way behind where we usually are. We're not even close to having apple blossoms, and I remember years when I was afraid they wouldn't last until Beltane, which is this Friday. I'm planning to go to Mount Auburn after the traditional maypole and brunch, and I hope I get to see some flowers!
