I've been very active here on DW for the last six or seven years, or so.... I created a Dreamwidth account in early-ish 2010, out of solidarity with the Disability Rights movement, because the founders here made a commitment from the beginning to make this space accessible.

I've been crossposting to LJ all along, but it didn't take long before I was forgetting to check that side of things for replies, so it may have seemed like I disappeared (and why it would take me an embarrassingly long time to reply to people).
