I'm right with you there on taking better care of the environment, hon!

Back when justjanus and I used to attend festivals (the last one being about 5 years ago), most of them were *very* proactive about getting people to be more responsible about their impact on the site, with numerous marked locations for cigarette butts and different types of recyclables or returnables to go. They tended to be smaller gatherings (no more than 300 people) and had daily "town meetings" where there would usually be reminders to use the receptacles, too. It was part of the culture, and hopefully still is at some gatherings!
