My friend Gisela took me out for Mexican food tonight. We were *stuffed* when we left there! I had this Margarita shrimp cocktail that was wonderful, and an appetizer plate that had three different things on it, all delicious. I have leftovers for tomorrow. And, of course, a strawberry margarita!

Since we were right near the movie theater, we decided to go see "The Village." It was better than I expected, actually. This one had a couple of twists, but they didn't make me mad like the one in "Unbreakable." That one's twist seemed to me to be there just to be there, you know? Like the director/writer had to put in a twist, because he established that as his signature in "The Sixth Sense" (which I liked a lot), but it was lame and ruined the picture for me. I never did see "Signs" because of that. But I recommend this one. When you discover the big twist, the second one (or was it the third?), you understand. It's a metaphor. I can't explain it without ruining the movie for you, not to be all mysterious or anything. And I thank the reviewer I read who didn't ruin it for me. And no, I didn't see it coming. But then, I didn't get the one in "The Sixth Sense," either. There were some good spooky and jumpy bits, too.

Glad it's friday. Need sleep.
