Saturday was the SEF Samhain out in Grafton. I volunteered to help out. Poor Lyn was sick with food poisoning, so I was the Guardian in the ritual. I got to hold up axes and look fierce. That was fun. As I was leaving, a guy told me he thought I looked cool with the axes. Hee!

I did everybody's makeup for the ritual. Lots of black eyeliner, and blue & green eyeshadow. Shades of Liz Taylor in Cleopatra! Lots of glitter, too. That was fun.

I went to Trader Joe's this morning. Got lots of yummy food. Stopped at Bruegger's on the way home and got bagels & cream cheese for breakfast this week. A nice change. I wish there was a Bruegger's closer. No, wait, I don't. Can't be eating bagels & cream cheese every day!

I'm really miffed that my coven is not having its Samhain next weekend, which would be logical. They're having it the following weekend, which I've already made plans for. So, I have to miss either Anthony's surprise birthday party, which would be disappointing since I had to miss his last party, or Samhain, which is an important Sabbat that I like to spend with my coven. I'm not happy that nobody asked me my opinion, but I suppose I have no right to expect that since I'm not as active in the coven anymore. So I can't really protest. I made it pretty clear to Jennifer & Ann that I was unhappy about it, though. Argh! Sigh.
