Today was a fun day. A few folks dressed up for Halloween at work. I wore all black, and my pointy witch hat with purple feathers. Noreen called it my "floozy witch hat." Very funny. Most of us brought in food, and we grazed all day. Yum. I surprised some of the customers, but they all liked the getup. It was cool, because just this week I've felt like I'm really part of the team, not the new gal anymore. 3 months is the usual period for me, and it was 3 months last week.
After work, I went out for Indian food with Gisela. I haven't had Indian food in ages. It was yummy. Nice little place in West Springfield. Very attentive staff. The samosas and nan were very good. The tikka masala was OK, not great but quite edible. We were thinking of going to the movies after, but we both decided we were too tired. She has a cold, and it was a long day for me. Fridays are weird; crazy busy in the morning, and then waiting for most of the afternoon. It wears me out.
Gotta come up with a cool costume for Wendy's party tomorrow night. I'm thinking lots of leopard print, with my kitty ears headband. Meow!
