Ice & snow, wheeee!

It's another lovely day here in New England. The shrubbery outside my window is coated with ice. I periodically hear the pitter-patter of ice pellets hitting my windows. The ground crunches when people walk by. Right now, a grainy snow is falling from the sky.

So glad I don't have to go anywhere today! I just hope that I don't lose power. That would not be good. I don't have a fireplace like witchveronica has. And she lives too far away to safely drive to. I suppose I could light a bunch of candles and huddle under a blanket!

Today would have been Elvis' 70th birthday. Happy birthday to the King!

Well, it seems to have stopped precipitating. For now. Everything's coated with ice, including, I presume, my car. Good thing tomorrow's Sunday. My forsythia bush looks like it's made of crystal.

Taking a break from Ed Wood to watch figure skating on the TV. The latest crop of skaters is pretty bland. I miss Elvis Stojko and Phillipe Candeloro! They were so much fun to watch. I haven't seen anything to wow me tonight. I think I'll go back to Johnny Depp. Speaking of fun to watch. :)
