potluck

Yay, people actually showed up for our potluck this evening! Not a lot, but enough to make it fun. We talked about what we want to do with the discussion group. We decided to hold it closer to Imbolc, and to have a guided visualization. I plan to do the Temple of Isis with the group; it's something I've wanted to do for a while. It's something that most of the folks around here haven't done before, and it's so powerful; I think they'll really like it.

I turned on the figure skating championships, and I just got to see Sasha fall on her butt. I love seeing that! For some reason, she rubs me the wrong way. I just don't like her. I like to see her taken down a notch. Isn't that awful? I just don't like arrogant little spoiled rich kids. They always talk about her like she's wonderful, but she always falls on her butt. And I don't think she's nearly as attractive as she apparently thinks she is. Meow, saucer of milk for table five. OK, catty moment over.

Mike was talking this evening about getting together a writer's group. I think that would be way cool. I need motivation to get writing. I have all these ideas and half-started projects. I need a reason to actually do some writing. This doesn't count. Time to dust off some of those projects!

OK, Michelle Kwan is on. Go Michelle! Love the outfit. Ooh, and "Bolero!" Nice choice. Oh, and it was choreographed by Christopher Dean. How fitting. And, yay, she won! Yippee! She's such a joy to watch. So elegant.
