Busy day today!
Mar. 17th, 2005 08:24 pmIt was almost non-stop all day. Every time I was on the phone, my message light was blinking when I hung up. A lot of the people I've called this week called me back and said "yeah, sign me up!" Go me! At the beginning of the week, I had 99% of my goal in for the month. I have one more week to go. (The 28th is the last issue of the month, so as of next Friday I'll be done for March) It's looking good. :)
Looking forward to the weekend. Saturday night, we're doing a multi-coven Ostara at Vinnie's. That should be really cool! All the kissing cousins getting together for a sort of family reunion. Plus, Spring! Always a good thing. I'll be very glad when it's finally here. It's been a tough winter. Too cold, too much snow. Today was quite nice, a seasonable day with lots of sunshine.
There is a small group of wild turkeys that show up in our company parking lot from time to time. They put a picture of them in the paper one week. Well, these turkeys are quite bold, and the other day they had a guy in the lot next door trapped in his car. He was afraid to get out. He snuck out the passenger door, and they chased him into his building. Poor fellow! I missed the whole thing, but I heard two of my coworkers laughing hysterically. When they told me about it, I couldn't believe they didn't go out to help him. I'm not afraid of a couple of turkeys! Well, not much. They are awfully big. OK, if they rushed at me, I'd probably scream.
