lovely day
Apr. 6th, 2005 02:49 pmAnd I don't mean that in a snarky way at all. Even though I felt yucky this morning. It's almost 70 degrees out! We have the windows open. Best of all, I get to leave early because I'm going to some sort of business show at the Big E. My boss thinks it's cute that I have fun going to these sorts of things. I haven't been to enough of them to get jaded, I guess. It's kinda like the one I went to at the Log Cabin the other week, but much bigger. We're serving ice cream, which if I'm lucky I might get to try! They asked us for names for the flavors that go with our company. I came up with "Prime Pistachio," named after our monthly magazine.
Of course, with the open windows we get free traffic noise as a bonus! Isn't that special?
I was waiting on a young guy a little while ago that had nice eyes and was ever so cute. And I think he was flirting with me. Always does the ego good to be flirted with, especially by a cute young guy!
My voice is somewhat better today. Still a bit frog-like, but not cracking or squeaking so much. From what I can tell, this Airborne stuff has managed to delay a full-blown cold, but not get rid of it altogether. Not sure that's much of an improvement. I probably should have stayed home yesterday, but I didn't really feel all that bad. I just sounded bad. I would've felt guilty all day.
