sunday morning...

...and of course I'm up at the crack of dawn. I ended up not going to G's yesterday; my body told me it needed a nap way more than a party. I knew I'd be sorry later if I didn't listen. If only I could stay asleep in the morning; then I wouldn't need a nap later! sigh

We had a small but lively turnout for potluck last night. I couldn't bring myself to cook anything, so I stopped at the store and got pink lemonade & cookie dough. Fortunately, Jen brought lots of food. We ate the cookie dough raw. Mike's boys were there and full of energy as boys tend to be.

Today I must do some laundry. And clean up the kitchen. And probably do some grocery shopping as well. I'm sure a nap will figure in there somewhere, too. My cold seems to be somewhat better today. Thank goodness for small favors! At least it's going to be a nice one, weather-wise. Ahhhh, spring!
