the pleasure of a lovely day
Apr. 19th, 2005 07:51 pmToday was a spectacular day outside. I went down to Heritage Park at lunch, where there was about a million kids. It's spring break time, and what a week to have no school! I envy the little buggers. It was very hard to go back to the office. We had the windows open, but it was small consolation.
After dinner, I went for a walk. What a perfect evening! It was late enough that the sun was quite low, and the moon accompanied me the whole way. I saw a family out riding their bikes: a mom, a dad with a munchkin on the back, and a tyke with his little bike. So cute! People were out doing yardwork, walking their dogs, and sitting on their porches. I saw lots of daffodils, some violets, and a couple of tulips about to burst forth.
Along with the coming of spring, I'm feeling a burst of creativity. I hope I can put it to good use!
