The temperature is back to normal today. In the 50s, instead of the 80s like it was yesterday. Mom is back from Germany, tired but happy. She brought back lots of wine & chocolate ("a ton," according to my sister, who had to lug her bags to the car). She tripped on a cobblestone in her parents' home town and bruised her knee & wrist, but was otherwise unscathed. I can't wait to see the pictures! Not to mention eat the chocolate. Yay, mom! I'm so glad she got to go again. Someday, my sis & I will make it there. I just hope I don't have to wait until I'm 70 like Mom did!

It's been a day. Diane is off for her birthday, so I've been taking all the reader ads. They're all nuts, I tell you! I thought painters and roofers were bad; guys selling recreational vehicles leave them in the dust. Oy vay! I had one guy make me read back his ad with punctuation. Sheesh.

I made bonus and a little extra commission this month, so I've decided I can finally afford to get a haircut. It's been ages. One of my coworkers has a sister-in-law who is a hairdresser, and she does several other coworkers as well, so I think I'll give her a try. She's right here in East Longmeadow, so I can go at lunch or right after work. Yay! Gonna get this mop chopped. It's way too long. It doesn't do anything fun when it's this long. It just hangs there. I'm getting too old to have hair that just hangs there. I need something more peppy.
