gloomy monday
Apr. 25th, 2005 01:09 pmI broke down and bought some decongestant on my lunch break. The antihistamines just weren't cutting it. I'm sick of having a stuffy nose! I talk funny. A lady in the cold-remedy aisle at CVS said I looked like I didn't feel good. Thanks! That's just what I needed. Some stranger telling me I look bad. Sheesh.
The bored-at-work website of the day is: awfulplasticsurgery.com. I just love WXRV! Not just fabu music, but fun diversions as well. What more could you ask from a radio station?
I came this close to staying home this morning. I had my hand on the doorknob, and I hesitated for just a moment. Do I really want to go to work? I didn't, but I couldn't really justify staying home. I feel foggy and stuffy, but not really sick. I could use a couple hours more sleep, but I'll deal. I'm in slow motion today.
Oooh, the drugs are starting to kick in. I can almost breathe through my nose! Little things make me happy. When I was in the car going to CVS, they played "John Barleycorn" on the local classic hits station. Wow! I love that song! Not to mention that it's totally Pagan.
